And I lost zero pounds.
In fact I gained 2.
When I signed up for the MWLC I weighed 149 pounds.
On Monday (Day 1 of the MWLC) I weighed 151 pounds.
On Wednesday(Day 3 of the MWLC) I weighed 148 pounds (yea progress!).
Today is official weigh in day and I weigh 151 pounds again.
It’s disappointing.
And I have learned a few things, like I have to weigh myself every single morning, as clearly my weight is fluctuating.
I worked hard and I ate healthy, but it didn’t work. Clearly I did something wrong, even though I stuck with my plan and I did all these workouts:
Monday AM: 2k run, 4k walk (it was HOT), PM: P90x Chest, Back & Ab Ripper
Tuesday AM: P90x Core synergistics, PM: P90x Plyometrics
Wednesday AM: 2k walk, 4k Run, PM: P90x Legs & Back
Thursday AM: 2k walk, 4k run (didn’t work out in the PM as husband was out-of-town so I was on twin duty all day/all night on my own)
Friday AM: P90x Yoga, PM: P90x Shoulders & Arms (worked out in the evening even though I was on twin duty all day/all night on my own)
Saturday 16k run (fantastic fun long run!)
Sunday Rest Day
Total KM Run: 26
Total KM walked: 8
Total p90x workouts: 6
I really believe the wise saying that the definition of insanity is doing the something and expecting a different result so I’m going to change my strategy.
This week, I’m going to eat several (5-6) small meals a day (around 200-250 calories per meal) and aim for 1200 calories total and I’m NOT going to eat my workout calories (last weeks strategy was to have a net total of 1010, eating all my workout calories).

So frustrating! Maybe you’re not eating enough and your body is holding onto fat. Seems like your workouts are on point. Hope the scale is nice this week:)
Don’t sweat the first week. Like you said weight fluctuates a lot. For me, I only weigh in once every week – same time, same clothing. I get really upset when I see the numbers going up. Maybe your body was just holding on to water? Next week will be better I’m sure
[...] I weight 146.2 pounds, I lost only 0.3 pounds(total loss so far of 4.8 pounds). I was annoyed (again). I was disheartened (again). Then I read Jess’s post and I felt better, less alone. It was [...]
